\nThat is why on the 7th of May at 7 p.m. in the Calder\u00f3n Theatre of this city, once again the Asociaci\u00f3n Amigos de La M\u00fasica de Alcoy wants to offer an intimate concert to the public of Alcoy and its visitors.
\nWe will have the honour of seeing in concert
\nMar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Montiel, Mezzo-soprano with a fantastic repertoire in which tribute is paid to the extraordinary career of the Spanish mezzo-soprano Teresa Berganza.<\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Montiel was born in Madrid and is the winner of the 2015 National Music Prize.
\nTereza Berganza will receive a warm tribute for her brilliant career, the Asociaci\u00f3n Amigos de La M\u00fasica de Alcoy will present her with the Medalla de Honor Al M\u00e9rito Art\u00edstico (Medal of Honour for Artistic Merit).<\/p>\n

Tereza Berganza has performed in the world’s leading theatres and has collaborated with the greatest conductors and the most exquisite casts.
\nShe has received numerous accolades and awards such as the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts (1991).

The music will be provided by the Orquesta de Valencia, on this occasion the concert will be conducted by Jordi Bern\u00e0cer from Alcoy.<\/p>\n
