Next Sunday, 25th February, for the second year, the Canicross Solidarity event organised by the Alcoy Canicross Club<\/strong><\/a> will be held for the benefit of the GARA Association and AECC under the name “Pates I PEUS” Paws and Feet.<\/span><\/p>\n

The race will take place from 8.30am to 2pm on the Via Verde in Alcoy. <\/span><\/p>\n

The race covers a distance of 8 km, will start at 10 a.m. and the walk will start at 11 a.m. covering 5 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are interested in participating you can register on the Click’N’Run platform before 21 February and the contribution is 10 \u20ac and 15 \u20ac with event backpack. <\/span><\/p>\n

In order to take part in the test, it is essential that he\/she has the necessary equipment for Canicross. Both in the race and in the walk the dogs will have to pass a veterinary control. <\/span><\/p>\n

The collection of bibs and veterinary checks will be from 8:30 to 9:45 at the start of the Via Verde in Batoi. <\/span><\/p>\n

This is a totally charitable activity and seeks to encourage the participation of people who are passionate about running and are also animal lovers. <\/span><\/p>\n

The benefits of this activity will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer AECC and the Group of Rehabilitated Alcoholics of Alcoy, GARA. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is of utmost importance to showcase the work and work of both associations and to help as much as possible to raise awareness of the situation faced by people with addictive disorders. Practising healthy habits and sport reduces the risk of contracting diseases and addictions. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Ameglio Amaya family, owner of the charming Hotel Masia La Mota, identifies with this valuable cause because, as well as being dog lovers, they are also animal lovers. There are many species that live in the Font Roja Natural Park and they recognise the importance of these species that make up our beautiful mountain, as they are of great importance to the balance of nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

Foreign and local visitors who enjoy visiting places such as the Font Roja and the Serra de Mariola appreciate the authenticity of these places.<\/span><\/p>\n
