It is a well known tourist destination in the rest of Europe, especially the Costa Blanca, and you would not imagine that it is one of the most mountainous areas in Spain, much less that its gastronomy enjoys such prestige, with great restaurants of great national and international prestige.<\/p>\n<p>Alicante&#8217;s gastronomy is renowned for its diversity of both inland and Mediterranean products. Its millenary culture makes it a gastronomic destination par excellence. This province boasts more Michelin stars than any other province in Spain and one of the star dishes is rice.<\/p>\n<p>For yet another year, Masia La Mota Restaurant, located in the Font Roja Natural Park in the mountains of Alicante, is recommended in the pages of the prestigious <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.guiasgastronomicas.es\/guiaalicante.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gastronomic Guide of Alicante<\/a><\/strong>, which this year has a foreword written by the world-renowned Spanish chef Ferran Adri\u00e0. We also had the great pleasure of hosting him in our charming hotel a couple of years ago.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning that the well-known chef Ferr\u00e1n Adri\u00e0 and his brother Albert Adri\u00e0 have been in the city of Alcoy supervising the creation of their tableware by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eltallerdepinero.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taller de Pi\u00f1ero<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Please find attached the link to the video where the famous chef explains the relationship with the Taller de Pi\u00f1ero and where our manager Indira Amaya appears.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kVFpSN0vukc<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2801\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2801\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2801 size-gallery-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masialamota.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Hotel-Masia-La-Mota-Ferr%C3%A1n-Adr%C3%ADa-con-Gaki-e-Indira--600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Chef Ferr\u00e0n Adri\u00e0 \" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2801\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spanish chef Ferr\u00e1n Adri\u00e0 with Masia La Mota owners Indira and Edgar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>His <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_Bulli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Restaurant El Bulli<\/a><\/em><\/strong> was voted best restaurant in the world for several years.<\/p>\n<p>This is the seventh edition of a guide that has always counted on the collaboration of great chefs such as Mart\u00edn Berasategu\u00ed, Quique Dacosta, Pedro Subijana, Joan Roca, Juan Mari Arzak and Jo\u00ebl Robuchon.<\/p>\n<p>Last year the 2017 Guide was presented by Chef Kiko Molla of Restaurante <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lescaleta.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>L&#8217;Escaletade<\/em><\/a><\/strong> Cocentaina who currently holds two Michelin stars and is located just a few kilometres from our hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Corredor has carried out this initiative successfully, as this guide is present at fairs, tourist information offices and in the establishments themselves and has the support of companies that offer top quality products in our province. He has been able to promote our gastronomic offer so that you can have a reference of the places where you can find singularities and, above all, eat well.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4681 size-gallery-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masialamota.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Gui%CC%81a-Gastronomica-de-Alicante-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"><\/p>\n<p>Our manager Indira Amaya de Ameglio was able to attend this year&#8217;s presentation at the Corte Ingl\u00e9s, which was given by the renowned Chef Susi Diaz, founder of her <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lafinca.es\/susi-diaz\/susi-diaz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">restaurant La Finca<\/a><\/strong><\/em> in Elche, who has a long career as a self-taught chef.
