If you are still looking for a place to spend the days of the week in the middle of nature with multiple routes for walking, cycling or horse riding, welcome to the charming Hotel Masia La Mota.<\/p>\n

The charming Hotel Mas\u00eda La Mota is located in one of the most beautiful places in the Valencian Community, the Font Roja Natural Park. Mas\u00eda La Mota is an old country house with beautiful views from any point of its exteriors and gardens.<\/p>\n

From its terrace you can watch a beautiful sunset as well as enjoy drinks and refreshments of all kinds. But since it’s in Alcoy we suggest you try a Plis Play or one of their craft beers. The wine list offers local wines, some of them from very small family wineries where you can appreciate local varieties or natural wines without added sulphites.<\/p>\n

When you arrive at the Masia La Mota estate you will see its beautiful rural setting with well-preserved, centuries-old olive trees that are part of the Mediterranean olive oil culture.<\/p>\n

Of course, you will also have the opportunity to taste the Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced in-house from its centenary trees of the native Alfafarenca variety, very rich in polyphenols which make it a great antioxidant and a great ally in reducing caridiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n

One of the things that most surprises our guests is the proximity to the city of Alcoy, a city rich in history, culture and above all nature. Alcoy has always been associated as an industrial city, which is true, but many do not imagine the natural paradise it offers, especially for hikers.<\/p>\n

Twelve routes to follow from Masia La Mota<\/h3>\n

We will provide you with a map with 12 walking routes that will take you to places such as El Rac\u00f3 de San Bonaventura or Els Canalons, La Sarga, El Menejador.<\/p>\n

If you come for only two days and it is your first visit, you cannot miss the Font Roja Natural Park Information Centre and take a photograph on the balcony that surrounds the building.<\/p>\n

From there you can do the Barranc del Infern Route or climb the Menejador, the highest part of the Park with a height of 1356 metres, following a circular route of only 7 km.<\/p>\n

The Font Roja Natural Park is located between the municipalities of Ibi and Alcoy, its mixed Mediterranean forest is one of the best preserved in Spain.<\/p>\n

On this route you can enjoy extraordinary views and cultural vestiges such as the old snow pits or snow pits “Pou de Neu” here we can see the Cava Coloma a magnificent example that illustrates what was the ice industry in the interior of Alicante.<\/p>\n
